The new range comprises the PRO 1240, PRO 2420 and PRO 2440, covering 12V and 24V applications. The PRO 1240 is designed for 12V workshop and showroom applications, while the PRO 2420 and PRO 2440 provide 24V capability for trucks and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
The key technology behind the PRO Series is MODESHIFT™. Rather than requiring the technician to manually change between operating modes, the system automatically responds to the vehicle’s power requirements.
When a vehicle is drawing power during diagnostics, software updates or other workshop activity, MODESHIFT™ provides stable battery support. Once the additional load stops, the charger automatically switches to intelligent charging and battery conditioning. This allows the unit to maintain the battery without requiring constant technician intervention. For workshops, this can simplify battery management across a range of jobs while helping ensure vehicles remain charged and ready for their next stage of servicing.
The PRO Series uses fanless, convection-cooled construction, allowing consistent full-power operation without derating during extended use. The units are also fitted with industry-standard Anderson connectors and can be paired with CTEK’s 2.5m or 5m DC charging cables, providing flexibility across different workshop layouts and vehicle applications.
The PRO Series is suited to the realities of a professional workshop, where equipment needs to be robust, reliable and straightforward to operate. For technicians, the objective is simple.
