SEMA 2026: lighting, film and fitout gear lead the the charge
The 2026 SEMA Show opens in Las Vegas next week, running from 3 to 6 November. Exhibitors are already showing their hand ahead of the doors opening, and the first wave of announcements has plenty in it for auto electricians and accessory fitters.
SEMA is the specialty side of the aftermarket. It’s where performance, 4×4, lighting, audio and accessory brands launch the products that end up on Australian workshop benches and in fitout quotes over the following year.
Lighting
Stinger is bringing more than 70 vehicle-specific HEXCORE lighting kits to the show and launching a new HEXCORE COLOR range. Vehicle-specific kits are designed to fit a particular make and model, cutting down on the custom brackets and wiring workarounds that slow an install.
Window film
ZIVENT is using the show to launch an automotive window film range. It arrives as window film gets more attention closer to home, with WFAANZ launching its first installer certification program in Australia and New Zealand on 4 November.
Audio
AudioControl is expanding its EPIC and Altitude speaker lines with new drivers and larger subwoofers. For auto elecs who do audio installs, it’s a sign of where the premium end of 12V audio is heading.
Tools and truck gear
On the workshop side, there’s a new three-piece lug off and lug on set for removing and refitting damaged lug nuts and bolts. Classic Design Concepts is launching a new Next Level Truck Gear brand along with a patented truck bed system.
On the show floor
Hot rod pinstriping legend Art Himsl will give a live demo and autograph session in what’s billed as his final SEMA appearance. On Friday 6 November, SEMA Fest brings car culture and live music to the show campus.
When: 3 to 6 November 2026
