Autocare heads to Adelaide in 2027

Autocare 2027 will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on 7 and 8 May, taking the national training convention to South Australia after its last two editions in Brisbane.
Hosted by the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA), which bills it as Australia’s largest automotive training event, Autocare brings together technicians, apprentices, workshop owners and vehicle modification professionals for training, networking and a major trade show.
AAAA CEO Stuart Charity said the move marked a new chapter for the event.
“We’re excited to bring Autocare to Adelaide and create another valuable opportunity for our industry to learn, connect and grow,” he said.
“Vehicle technology and business demands continue to evolve. Whether you’re tackling complex diagnostics, building a stronger workshop business or navigating vehicle modification requirements, Autocare will help you return with practical knowledge, fresh ideas and strong new connections.”
Three training streams
Australian and international trainers will deliver the program across three streams.
Technical Training is built for technicians who want to sharpen their diagnostic capability and keep pace with modern vehicles. The focus is on practical insights that can be applied straight back in the workshop.
Workshop Success is aimed at owners and managers. It covers business performance, efficiency and building strong teams, along with how to respond to changing customer expectations.
Modification Pathways builds on the National Light Vehicle Modifications Summit. It will help modification professionals work through regulatory requirements and approval pathways, understand changes on the way and have a say in the future of national modification standards.
Why it matters for technicians
Autocare is one of the few national events where diagnostics and module programming take centre stage. Those skills mean fewer jobs sent out and more control over your own workflow.
Trade show and networking
Alongside the training, the Autocare Trade Show will feature workshop tools, diagnostic technology, parts, equipment, services and business solutions, giving attendees time with suppliers and new products. A networking event on the show floor will round out the program.
Closer to home for the west
The Adelaide move also makes Autocare easier to reach for workshops in SA, WA and western Victoria.
Tickets go on sale in late 2026, with the full program, international trainers and trade show details still to be announced. General event information is available at www.autocare.org.au
