Fennell Tyres pushes into WA’s south west with a new acquisition

Fennell Tyres International, part of the Magna Tyres Group, is expanding further into Western Australia with the acquisition of Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists. The Bunbury business officially joined Fennell Tyres in August 2026.

Fennell Tyres International, based in Kewdale WA, has continued to grow its presence across Western Australia since joining the Magna Tyres Group, supplying tyres, servicing and technical support across the transport, mining, industrial, construction and earthmoving sectors.

The acquisition builds on a long standing relationship between Aldo Gismondi, Director of Magna Tyres Australia, and Bevan Dillon, Director of Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists, developed over many years of working together across those same sectors. That relationship has given both businesses a clear view of how the other operates, which Fennell says has made the integration more straightforward than a typical acquisition between unfamiliar parties.

With Bunbury’s Tyre Specialists now part of the network, Fennell is better placed to support customers across both Perth and regional WA, with faster response times and broader product availability. The move extends Fennell’s reach further into the state’s south west, an area it has not previously served directly, giving regional customers access to the same transport, mining, industrial, construction and earthmoving support already available through the Kewdale base. The Bunbury site will continue operating during the transition, with existing customer contacts and service arrangements remaining in place, so customers should notice no disruption to how they currently deal with the business.
