Automechanika Frankfurt returns with record exhibitor numbers
Automechanika Frankfurt runs in September 2026, bringing together more than 4,400 exhibitors from over 80 countries across 300,000 square metres, a five per cent increase on last year despite a tough global economic backdrop.
The event’s focus this year lands squarely on the trends reshaping the trade, AI, electromobility, digitalisation and autonomous driving, with a new HighTech4Mobility forum covering software-defined vehicles and autonomous tech.
Training gets a bigger footprint too, with certified workshops and a stage program across five exhibition halls covering everything from ADAS diagnostics to alternative drive systems.
For Aussie techs who can’t make the trip, there’s good news, for the first time this year, the entire stage program will be made freely available online after the fair wraps up, giving local workshops access to the same training content without the airfare.
