Brisbane Truck Show marks 60 years in 2027

The Brisbane Truck Show will celebrate its 60th anniversary when it returns to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 20 to 23 May 2027.

Run by Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA), the show began in 1968 with 21 exhibitors at Haulmark Trailers’ Rocklea premises. It’s now billed as Australia’s largest industry exhibition. HVIA reports the 2025 event drew a record 54,790 attendees.

For auto electricians and air con specialists, heavy vehicles are a growing opportunity. Modern trucks carry complex electrical architecture, telematics, ADAS and climate control systems that need skilled technicians. Fleet operators are always on the lookout for reliable service partners.

Truck Week runs alongside the show, with the National Show ’N’ Shine, a careers hub, the Heritage Truck Show and the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show spread across Brisbane.

When: 20 to 23 May 2027
Where: Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
