Melbourne to host largest Engine Reconditioners gathering in over a decade
The Australia & New Zealand Engine Reconditioners Association (ANZERA) will bring the engine reconditioning industry together in Melbourne this October for what organisers are calling the largest Trans-Tasman gathering of the sector in more than ten years.
The 2026 ANZERA Engine Reconditioners Conference runs 15–17 October at the Novotel Glen Waverley, hosted jointly by the NZ Engine Reconditioners Association and the Australian reconditioning industry. The event brings together workshop owners, engine reconditioners, machinists, suppliers, manufacturers and industry leaders from across Australia, New Zealand and beyond.
Over three days, delegates will gain access to technical presentations, workshop tours, supplier displays, live demonstrations and business sessions designed specifically for the engine reconditioning sector, running in tandem with a trade exhibition expo.
Keith Wood, Executive Officer of NZERA and Conference Co-Ordinator, said the event reflects an industry navigating rapid change.
“The industry landscape continues to change, impacting on all businesses associated with this sector of the automotive industry,” organisers said. “It’s time to work through the changes that are coming and to understand the future market.”
The conference is open to anyone running an engine reconditioning workshop, manufacturers and suppliers in the component sector, direct suppliers of chemicals and consumables, and allied services including equipment, machinery, trade training, technical services, finance and insurance.
Industry event partners include ACL Bearing Co, Engine Australia and Nason Engine Parts.
