The 2026 AADA Convention & Expo returns to ICC Sydney on 29–30 July, bringing together franchised new car and truck dealers, industry leaders and key partners for two days of insight, strategy and connection under the theme “Leading the Way.”

The event, organised by the Australian Automotive Dealer Association (AADA), opens with the AADA Chairman’s Dinner on Tuesday 28 July, bringing senior industry leaders together ahead of the main convention. Day One kicks off with the Auto-IT Opening Breakfast, featuring futurist and bestselling author Michael McQueen, before the program moves into AADA’s targeted Workshop Series in the afternoon.

Across the two days, delegates can choose from concurrent workshop sessions covering AI readiness, cybersecurity, fixed operations, marketing ROI, customer experience, used EVs, ADAS, data visibility, dealership profitability, customer retention, legal risk and business strategy.

Day Two features the AADA Impel Feature Luncheon with Dr Louise Mahler, one of the world’s leading experts in body language, communication and leadership presence, exploring how leaders build trust and project confidence.

AADA CEO James Voortman said the convention was an important opportunity for dealers to come together at a critical time for the industry.

“The AADA Convention & Expo is the one time each year when Australia’s franchised new car dealers come together as an industry,” Mr Voortman said. “This is an important opportunity not only to share ideas and practical solutions, but to show governments, regulators and the broader community the true scale, professionalism and economic importance of Australia’s dealer network.”

The expo floor will showcase the latest dealership technologies and services, alongside networking events including welcome receptions and dealer group meetings.
